12ft snooker full-size, 15 reds
The tournament table: 12ft of cloth, tight pockets and the long game you get in a real match. Long potting, safety exchanges and break building all behave the way they do on a club table.
Free · No download · No registration
Full-size 12ft snooker with 15 reds, faster 6-red frames and a compact 6ft table. Realistic physics, nothing to install, and you can play snooker with friends online for free.
Start here
This is a full snooker game that runs entirely in a web page. There is no installer, no account and no waiting room — press play and you are on the table, with the cue ball in hand and the reds racked. Frames are scored the way snooker is scored, colours and fouls included, so a break you build here means something.
It is also the free alternative to ShootersPool for anyone who does not want to download software or pay for an upgrade. Everything here — the 12ft table, 6-red snooker, the mini table, multiplayer and the training course — is free, on every device you own, and the whole project is open source.
Tables
Pick the session you have time for. Every table uses the same physics engine — only the size and the number of reds change.
The tournament table: 12ft of cloth, tight pockets and the long game you get in a real match. Long potting, safety exchanges and break building all behave the way they do on a club table.
Six reds on the full-size table. Same potting, half the frame — ideal for a coffee break or a fast game with a friend online.
A compact table with three reds that fits a small screen. Great for touch controls and for playing a frame in a couple of minutes.
Play with friends
Open the lobby, see who is online, send a challenge and the frame starts. No invite codes, no subscription, no registration — just snooker.
The online lobby lists every player who is connected right now, along with the table they are playing on. Challenge someone and the game opens on both screens at once. When your opponent leaves, the next challenger is a click away — and if the lobby is quiet, two practice bots are always waiting.

Training
A structured course of real snooker shots, played in the browser. No signup, nothing to pay, and it grades you as you go.
Work down the shot list and play each shot on a proper table. The course starts with straight pots and position on the black, then moves into long potting, screw back, break building and the awkward shots that decide close frames. Your completion and score are tracked, so you can see the difference between your first attempt and your tenth.
On the table
Touch aiming, a top-down view for planning position and a close view along the cue. Same physics, same frames, wherever you are.
Why it plays well
The difference shows up on your second shot: side comes off the cushion at the angle you expect, and the cue ball goes where the spin says it should.
Cushions, throw and spin transfer follow published billiards research, so running side and check side behave like they do on cloth.
Mouse or touch, any modern browser. Nothing to install and no app store involved.
Every table, the lobby and the training course are free. No account, no email, no upgrade tier.
The whole WebGL billiards project is public, with a leaderboard to chase a 147 on.
FAQ
Yes. This site is a free, open source snooker and billiards simulator that runs in a browser, which makes it a good free alternative to ShootersPool. ShootersPool is a respected PC snooker simulator with a free-to-play version and a paid PRO upgrade, but it needs Windows and a download. Yes — this is the place to play snooker with friends online for free. Open the lobby, see who is online, send a challenge and the frame starts straight away. There is no charge, no account and no limit on how many frames you play. When nobody is around, two practice bots are always available to keep you sharp.
No. There is no download, no app and no registration. The game runs entirely in your browser on desktop and mobile, and you can pick a name in the lobby if you want one to appear on the leaderboard. Nothing is installed and no email address is required.
Four options: full-size 12ft snooker with 15 reds, 6-red snooker on the 12ft table for quicker frames, a compact 6ft table for short and mobile-friendly games, and a free aim mode if you want full control of the cue ball line. Scoring, colours and fouls are handled by the game.
Take the free snooker training course. It is a shot-by-shot course that starts with straight pots and position on the black and moves on to advanced shots, and it scores you as you work through the shot list. After that, practice mode lets you place balls anywhere on the table and replay any shot until it feels natural.
Yes. Aiming works with touch, there is a top-down camera for planning position and a close aim view along the cue, and the 6ft table is designed for small screens. The whole snooker game is responsive, so you can play the same frames on a phone, tablet, laptop or desktop without installing anything.
