PHYSICS OF INCOMPRESSIBLE SPHERES

Mathematical Analysis

Time Allowed: Three (3) Hours
Reading Time: Candidates are allocated 10 minutes of reading time before writing.

Instructions to Candidates

1. Commencement: Candidates must not commence the examination until instructed to do so by the Invigilator. Adequate time should be taken beforehand to read all instructions and verify that equipment is functioning correctly.

2. Silence and Conduct: Examination conditions are strictly silent. Candidates must neither communicate with nor assist any other candidate. Any conduct liable to distract, inconvenience, or confer an unfair advantage is prohibited.

3. Examination Conditions: Candidates must complete the examination independently in a quiet environment free from interruption. Mobile telephones and all external reference materials are strictly forbidden unless expressly authorised by the Examiner.

4. Dress and Equipment: Candidates are expected to present themselves in attire appropriate to a formal academic assessment. A regulation cue, reliable internet connection, and a pointing device capable of accurate shot selection are required.

5. Assessment: Unless otherwise stated, exercises may be attempted multiple times. Credit will be awarded only where the stated objective has been achieved. Accuracy, judgement, cue-ball control, positional play, and consistency form part of the assessment.

6. Conclusion: Upon the instruction to conclude the examination, candidates must immediately cease play, refrain from further interaction with the examination interface, and remain seated until all submissions have been received and verified by the Invigilator.
